Here's a step-by-step guide on how to upload a video to YouTube and various ways to :

1. Sign in to YouTube:

   Go to YouTube.com and sign in with your Google account. If you don't have one, you'll need to create one.
2. Access the Upload Page:

   Once signed in, click on the video camera icon at the top right corner of the page, then select "Upload video".
3. Select Your Video:

   Choose the video file you want to upload from your computer by clicking on the "Select files to upload" button. Alternatively, you can drag and drop the video file directly onto the upload page.
4. Upload Your Video:

   Once you've selected the video, YouTube will begin uploading it. You'll see a progress bar indicating how much of the upload is complete. Depending on the size of your video and your internet connection speed, this process may take some time.
   
   Note If you get a message that says you cannot upload videos longer than 15 minutes, you need to verify your YouTube account by following these steps .
5. Enter Video Details:

   While your video is uploading, you can start filling out the video details. This includes the title, description, and tags for your video. You can also choose a thumbnail for your video by selecting one of the suggested thumbnails or uploading a custom one.
6. Choose Privacy Settings:

   After your video has finished uploading, scroll down to the "Visibility" section. Here, you can choose who can view your video. Click on the Visability drop-down menu and choose:

   • Public if you want the video publically viewable and searchable.
   • Unlisted if you want anyone who is sent the direct link to be able to view it.
        Note: The video is not searchable on YouTube/Google and there is nothing stopping those who have the link with sharing it with anyone else.
   • Private if you want full control over who has the ability to view the videos.

       Additional Step: Enter the emails you'd like to share your video with, then select SAVE.
7. Save Changes:

   Once you've selected the privacy setting, click on the "Save" or "Publish" button to save your changes to finalize the upload.
      Note: Once the video is uploaded it is not always immediately viewable, YouTube needs to do processing on their end to make it viewable in multiple formats (Smartphone, Tablet, TV) as well as different qualities (4K, Standard Definition, Low Resolution).
8. Copy the Video Link:

   After saving your changes, YouTube will provide you with a link to your video.
