Uploading an Unlisted Youtube Video

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to upload a video to YouTube and make it unlisted:

  1. Sign in to YouTube: Go to YouTube.com and sign in with your Google account. If you don't have one, you'll need to create one.
  2. Access the Upload Page: Once signed in, click on the video camera icon at the top right corner of the page, then select "Upload video".
  3. Select Your Video: Choose the video file you want to upload from your computer by clicking on the "Select files to upload" button. Alternatively, you can drag and drop the video file directly onto the upload page.
  4. Upload Your Video: Once you've selected the video, YouTube will begin uploading it. You'll see a progress bar indicating how much of the upload is complete. Depending on the size of your video and your internet connection speed, this process may take some time.
  5. Enter Video Details: While your video is uploading, you can start filling out the video details. This includes the title, description, and tags for your video. You can also choose a thumbnail for your video by selecting one of the suggested thumbnails or uploading a custom one.
  6. Choose Privacy Settings: After your video has finished uploading, scroll down to the "Visibility" section. Here, you can choose who can view your video. Click on the drop-down menu and select "Unlisted". This means that only people who have the direct link to the video can view it.
  7. Save Changes: Once you've selected "Unlisted" as the privacy setting, click on the "Save" or "Publish" button to save your changes and make your video unlisted.
  8. Copy the Video Link: After saving your changes, YouTube will provide you with a link to your unlisted video. You can copy this link and share it with anyone you want to be able to view the video.
